SAC hosts dozens and dozens of events and all of those events must cost a fortune. So where does SAC get their funding from?

Some variation of a programming board has been on Missouri State's campus for decades. As of recently, the university has a fee that every student pays each semester called the Student Involvement Fee. Most of that money goes into one of three pools. One pool is SOFAC, or the Student Organization Funding Allocation Council. The second pool is the budget for the Student Government Association. The third is SAC.

SAC receives about $15 per student that is paying that fee. With those totals added up SAC's budget soars over $400,000 per year. This money is used to program the events they host. While that seems like an absurd amount, some single events can cost in the tens of thousands of dollars.
